Maybe a Lace Web Spider? I had the spider in your pics in my old flat a few years back, I did get one hell of a bite on my leg a few days later and always wondered if it was the spider what done it, and what sort of spider it was.

It's a just a False Irn Bru Bandit spider.

Looks like this one fed recently, so you were lucky this time.

Aberdeen Uni Zoology dept on the case. I will update when they have an answer.
It is facing down the way at the moment and cant get a decent photo.

The only Spiders I seem to get here in Aberdeen are those cute little Zebra spiders. The little striped ones that seem to jump at your face when you go in for a look.

This one is in a granite store just under street level.
Must be a cave spider, as they dont like light and eat slugs. There are plenty of slugs in that store.
