So I have a new PC. It only has one IDE port. I have spare from my last rig 2 IDE HDD (reasonably new) and an IDE DVD Rom.

Is there any such thing as either a USB or SATA adapter so I can use these? I have 3 spare SATA ports, and a couple of USB. I'm not hugely worried about access speed as these would just be storage drives.

Cheers.

you can buy external 5.25" USB Enclosures that are USB i believe, so it should be possible to search for a USB to IDE interface adapter.

You can convert IDE drives to sata, or you can do as said above and get an external enclosure. TBH, I'd say stick the two hds on the sata and the dvd on the ide.
