"IDE Light" - should it light up on SATA activity?

I am a bit confused as to whether or not my (what I thought would be my HDD activity light) should be blinking when my hard drives (which are all SATA) are active?

It is not, at the moment.

I have a Lian Li PC7 Plus.

Yes it should, you'll need to plug in the LED cable the other way round as it sounds like you've got the polarities mixed up.

Thank you, Jokesteer - you were right. LianLi had got the wires the wrong way round in the two-pin connector.

Not a big fan of the orange, though!
