Ive just put together a second rig based on a few old bits i had and a few secondhand components. Unfortunately im stuck with an ide optical drive, and the mobo, (asus p6 x58de) has no ide connector. Can anyone reccomend an adapter, and are they any use. Bit skint at the minute so i cant afford a sata optical drive, particularly as the ide one i have works fine.

For the sake of £17, i would just wait and pick up a sata drive mate.
