ide to sata (power)

hi all, just wondered if theres any way to get around the fact my ideq 200n doesnt have a sata power module. i have an antec psu with plenty of sata modules, any safe way to connect one to the ideq psu?

I wouldnt bother trying to bodge a sata connector on. You can get molex to sata converters and many sata drives can take both sata or molex power connectors

SATA devices can use 4-pin molex power connectors too...

not mine unfortunately, bit of a joke shipping a barebone with sata but no power for it!

ah yes, thankyou, after reading that my hard drive has just grown the ability to accept a molex power connector. :rolleyes:

PS. Cheers mikey, i'd nip to a local pc shop but the liklihood of them having one is slim to none!
