Idea for my next software?

Hi guys,

Shutdown Timer v2.5 will be releasing in a few days but I don't know any other programs that I can create that users would want, got any ideas to build up on my portfolio?

Well the person needs to have wake on LAN enabled plus the correct hardware to do it. The radio part should be alright.

WOL is used for waking a PC from sleep via the ethernet port, thats different.

In suspend to ram mode you do not need to use WOL, i dont think

Oh right I never really knew about suspend to ram.
I'll muck about with it an see what I can get.

Good idea. Whoever knows how to make apps can do this. I don't know objective c and don't want to spend £100 a year for this.

It's £50 and it's only a one time fee if your on about the SDK I would do it if i was requested to do so

I would defo do it if I actually made any profit from my shutdown timer but I'm making 0 right now.

Lets stick with Android

Free and growing, plus iPhone's have to many apps.

Android apps are doable. I'll have a look into that

Just thought of an idea, I'm looking into ways of doing it.

-- A winrar extractor .... wait...carry on reading.

If you have downloaded winrar files off the net usually they are in parts, file.part1.rar, filename.part2.rar etc...

Anyway, normally people use a download manager and set these to download while they sleep.

BUT they don't want to wake up and have to extract the parts then, why can't they just get to their system and the extracted files are there already.

So the program can detect once all the parts have been downloaded and once it has then extract them.

Easy? Maybe..what do you guys think.
