Idea for pre and post paella

Cooking a paella on Tuesday for the flat but need some ideas of starters and desserts to go with it. Nothing too extravagant, just things that will compliment it.

Ideas on a postcard!

Fried fish, calamari, baby squid all in batter. Ate so much of it out in Spain. It was beautiful.

Calamari as Glaucas said would be brillaint for a started. It's really is tasy and not to heavy either so will be good for a starter.

No ideas for desert though.

Something light for dessert, that would complement the fish in your paella, I would go for something lemony I think.

Yeah, decided on a lemon posset for dessert I think.
