Hi, I currently own a Thermaltake Mambo case which has served its job well but I'm currently putting a system together of old parts and rather then spend money on a cheep case i'd rather use the Mambo for it an purchase a new case for myself.

I see a lot of people recommend the Coolermaster CM-690 at around this price, its seems to offer a lot more in terms of space and cooling but i also like a case that was pretty quiet also, would this type of case be ok?

So any other cases for around £50 i should look at?

The 690 is a great case, but it certainly isnt a quiet one - leaks noise out every side lol.
Im looking to try and sound proof my 690 up a bit atm.

Is the foam on the CoolerMaster Sileo effective in cutting down on noise?

I was thinking the case was geared more to performance rather then being quiet, does DIY sound proofing work?

The loudest thing atm in my case is my single slot 8800gt and that only starts getting loud when gaming which i have no problem with headphones on.
