Under normal conditions, I get 36oC on my temperature readings for my CPU. Under a heavy load, say playing CS:GO, I get a max of 77oC, is this too high? I am afraid of burning it out or something, thanks!

15 quid for better temps and much quieter operation is worth it, looks like his problem is bad case cooling which a better cooler can help with.

No, you don't need to upgrade the psu. Little worried that you'd ask this, did you build the pc?

Haha, don't be worried mate! Nope I didn't build it but I have built quite a few over the years, just not this one as I didn't have the time to! Cooling has never been one of my strong points and TBH I have never really had to do it before! So I am just making sure :)

Yeah, I managed to get the temp down to 64-66, seems afterburner wasn't auto adjusting it so had fan speed at 44% for full load, but will probably still invest in one of those coolers, just to be on the safe side. Better to spend £15 now, than £200 if my CPU got burned out. Thanks for all the help man, very very appreciated!
