There's a Zenbook Duo refurb I'm looking at, which is a previous gen one, with a 10th gen i7, 16GB RAM, and 512GB SSD, for just over £800, but in really on the line about if it's a good deal and I should pull the trigger, or if its too much of a luxury buy.

Last year I bought a Lenovo Ideapad Flex 5, which has a Ryzen 4 4500u, 8GB RAM, and 256GB SSD.

The question is, is it worth the extra ~£400 to upgrade to the Zenbook Duo? And is it worth going for a refurb? The price point is sort of my limit I'm willing to pay for a laptop. Not really fond to pay £1k+, so if I don't go for it, I'll probably leave them altogether.

I just do some light gaming (Football Manager, Age of Empires etc.), and it wouldn't be my work laptop as I have another one for that.

You need to ask yourself why you need to upgrade first of all

It would definitely be a luxury upgrade.

Apart from general browsing etc. I use my laptop to play some light stuff like Football Manager and some RTS games, so the upgrade in specs would definitely make the difference.

For 899, you can get the Legion 5 with RTX 3060 which would be perfect IMO... Although the above idealpad has a better screen for sure!

yeh the 360 for that price is nice, i wen for the 1650 - i dont game - wanted a better screen - only down side to the laptop is the keyboard - has no travel like the macbooks.

I actually went for a Lenovo Yoga 9i with the highest spec i7 in it, got it on sale for £700, and chuffed to buts with it.
