I'm going to London for 10 days in the summer hols with Mrs FluffySheep and FluffySheep jnr (12). We went last year and had a ball. Below is a list of what we did last year, and a short list of things we want to do this year. Can anyone add any cool suggestions for nerds and things a Welsh man might not know about?

Watched the back to the future musical
Visited the science museum (honestly, I was disappointed, too busy)
Visited the Greenwich observatory
Visited the Cutty Sark
Visited Duxford imperial war museum
Visited HMS Belfast
Boat trip down the Thames
Seen Nelson's column
Seen houses of parliament
Seen Charlie's house (he wasn't home)
Walked down the mall
Visited horseguards and saw inspecting them
Horrible histories 'terrible Thames' boat tour (brilliant)
Open top bus tour
Visited the M&M shop
V&A children's museum
Covent garden market
Borough market for food
Tower bridge tour
Visited St. Paul's cathedral
Visited the tower of London and saw the white tower and crown jewels (beefeaters were fantastic)

Wants...
Any other horrible histories tours or similar?
See changing of the guard
Churchill's war rooms near the mall
Mrs doubtfire show
Go out of town and see Bletchley park

Come on ocuk, what you got?

Thanks in advance
FluffySheep

the enormous Excel centre always has something on, https://www.excel.london/visitor/whats-on handy for trains and a couple of nice restaurants out the back near the floating Sunborn Hotel.

Harry Potter fans?

The Warner Bros. Studios Tour (Leavesden - took about 30 minutes to reach from Euston Station IIRC) was excellent when we did it, but that was at least 15 years ago.

Legoland - done
Harry potter world - already sold out for the dates in going
London dungeon and Thames barrier - maybes. The barrier is the type of thing I've never thought about. Love engineering things like this and FluffySheep jnr loves his geography.

Thanks. Keep them coming
FluffySheep

I overheard someone saying on the train that the war of the worlds is quite an immersive experience, although i dont know if this is kid or adult thing

I hope you’re not paying for a hotel in London for 10nights! Crikey :p I was gonna suggest some restaurants but maybe you’ll need to stick to the McDonald’s.. ;)
