Ideas for New Helmet

Hello,

Well I have had my Shoei X-Spirit TC3 for over 3 years now and I think I am due a change. My main issue with this helmet is the excessive wind noise I have to put up with that has only got worse after the recent purchase of a Naked Bike (Compared to my CBR 600). It has got the point where I am wearing Ear Plugs and its still quite noisy inside.

I am really out of touch with helmets and in my 7 years or riding I have been one who keeps the helmet for as long as possible so I cant say I have a wide range of experience with different makes and styles etc.

What im asking for is a helping hand for someone to push me in the right direction. All I want is a very good helmet for noise protection, no more race reps with fancy paint jobs this time round.

As for price I have my eyes set on the Schuberth C3, im just not sure if there is anything else by other makes that can give that helmet a run for its money...

Any advice is welcome:)

Thanks

Thanks for the feedback guys :)

I think I will be trying on various different makes before jumping straight to the idea of a Schuberth. As I do most of my miles on a motorcycle I should really be wearing ear plugs no matter what helmet I wear.

I think the thing that sparked all this was the amount of padding and cushioning that was present in the Schuberth. To me my TC3 has a raw feel about it where as the Schuberth was like slipping into a nice arm chair. I will certainly check out the Shark Evoline as well, that one has really caught my eye with a much more comfortable price than the Schuberth.

I will try a range of makes on and report back with hopefully a new purchase soon! Just need to make sure I find the right one this time and not to go for a helmet on the basis that I think it will make me look awesome!
