Ideas on how to raise monitor height?

Got my new desk set up and the monitor is too low, not at eye level :mad:

Any idea's on how to raise the height, or is there anything you can buy.

1. Monitor height is not adjustable
2. Don't want to use some old books or something.

don't want to wall mount it really.

Using a book, at the mo. I think my best bet, is a nice looking height adjustable monitor riser. But they are like £30 :eek:

Work in progress, and poor phone camera.

As you can see the shelves on the wall may cause a problem.

So if I install a shelf for monitor, it will look silly. As will be about 5 inches higher than the desk.

I only need like it 5 inches higher.

Yeah I found 4 old shelves perfect match for the desk colour. Will screw them together tomorrow, just so there is no tiny gap.

Not over the moon with having to do it. But it's a lot better.

May look at trying to get a lower seat lol.

It is perfectly lined up with the shelf above it.

Picture was taking on the slant.
