ideas to boost pc for conan

started playing AoC but found my pc is not up to the job
currect spec
146 opty @ 3g
1.5g ram
ati 3780 512mb
480w psu {tagan}
also still on ide hard drives

so i need to upgrade but unsure what to pick for the best results.
budget is a issue around the 300 mark if possible

any help would appreciated

i'd go for something like the following, could still get an increase going for something like the core2duo 2200 and the abit ip35 mobo and save a bit of money:
