Ideas wanted for a 'couples' themed fancy dress party

Hi

For new years im going to a fancy dress party with the girlfriend at her brothers house and the theme is couples. Ideally id like something that we can cobble together cheaply at home, but i dont mind paying for a costume if the idea is good enough.

Nothing too cumbersome that will stop me drinking, going to the loo etc please

What ideas have you got?
