When one brother has passed his driving test and they are twins....

I've always wondered this, if you have two guys that look exactly the same and both live at home. Isn't it almost impossible to prove that the wrong twin is driving.

So infact your licenseless twin can rule the streets and be almost 90% exempt from getting caught.

I dont see why not, apart from the fact its illegal, and the other twin who does not have the license etc could be a complete tool and not be able to drive :)

they can.. as i know some charvs who do this..

but would you really trust your brother who has no licence with yours?

only numb people.. like the fool i know.. do ;)

Bit silly to let your twin use your licence as if he crashes it, then you are screwed as its your insurance thats affected.

I suppose with the advent of I.D cards though this wil be impossible.

How? If they look exactly the same, its the same as having a photographic driving license. And i cant see police doing random stops to check that you are who you say you are (using dna).

in that sense then one of the twins could take the driving test for the other.

hell they can even sit each others exams at Uni/College lol.

I know a pair of twins who have done this for years, the one without the license pays all the running costs of their shared car in return.

Well I know someone who lends his car to his mate regulary who doesn't have a licence/insurance etc. When he's been pulled by the police, he just says his mates name and they do a name check which comes clear obviously then they check the car is insured which it is for the name he just gave and if he ever gets a producer he says he will just send his mate in the cop shop with his details.

Really quite annoying that people can get away with this sort of thing :(

sounds almost obscenely stupid to me, lending a car to someone who gets pulled by the police

They are both a couple of idiots who live together, lucky the other one has still got a licence tbh.
