I'm fairly sure Samsung stick their own browser software on their TV's.
Not 100% sure as I can't find any detailed specification for the browser name on my Samsung TV but it looks similar to that.

Just asking as it doesn't seem to support a bootstrap(3) carousel and/or Jquery and wanted to see if I could test it somehow.

If it's a 2010 or 2011 Samsung TV it apparently uses a browser called Maple (based on modified Gecko engine), anything after that uses a webkit based browser

Thanks for those, will take a look. 
Given up, going to just sell/supply them a hdmi stick pc and run it on there instead.
