Hey,

My Seagate external hard drive just broke, and I have not seen the type of screw used on the caddy before.

Anybody know where I can by a bit for it?

It doesn't appear to be since my torx set is flat at the end. I've never seen it requiring a whole in the end :confused:

IIIII. PUT THE SCREEEEEEW. IN THE TUNA! :(

Happy memories :D

What you need it a "Torx TX" (Not a normal Torx) bit. Looks like a T9 or T10.

For Future Reference...

Torx = 6 Sided star
Torx TR = 6 Sided Star with central post
Torx TX = 5 Sided Star with central post

There are other variations but those are the main 3.

Will have a look, went into town at lunch and no where had anything even close, (purple shirts, atlaslins, B&Q, Screwfix etc etc) Looks like I'll have to get it from the net.
