Found this little specimen growing under my evo on the front gravel.

Anyone know what sort of mushroom it is and anything about them?

I was wondering the exact same thing on Sunday as I had the kid round at the park and there were quite a few growing.

Apparently there hasnt been a recorded death for over 100 years and its fine if you boil it.

Cheers for theh elp folks was just curious :D

If the OP has not replied within the next 24 hrs then he is most likely dead because you guys told him to eat it.

Please dont .....
Pffft:
Although generally considered poisonous, deaths are extremely rare, and it has been consumed as a food in parts of Europe, Asia, and North America after parboiling in water. Amanita muscaria is now primarily famed for its hallucinogenic properties, with its main psychoactive constituent being the compound muscimol.

OP, take the red pill...

Dry it out in the oven on a low heat for a few hours with the door open slighty.

Once fully dry, put in a bacon sandwich and NOM!

See unicorns.....

EDIT: This is just a suggestion, I am in no way endorsing that he eats the said mushroom in question.

That is most definitely a Fly Agaric, an extreme Hallucinogen.

They usually have a symbiotic relationship with trees, not evo's. :p
