Might be one for the electrical engineers among us.

Unfortunately I dont have a picture but what Im after is a bit like a kettle lead but with a square moulding around it.

Its a bit like an IEC C19 but has its pin orientated vertical not horizontal like a standard C13/14 kettle plug.

So Im looking for some kind of C19 and C13 love child. Does anyone know if it is a standard connection or am I dealing with some manufacturer using propriety shapes?

Cheers

Is it off a piece of old '70s Hi Fi?
That kind of connection was quite common, I found two in work last week (I'm at home now) I think they came off a Goodman's receiver.

Its actually a cheap smoke machine, not sure how old it is though. Dont think it dates back to the 70s.

All I wanted to do was make an extension cable for the remote control but it's turning into a right mission.

It may be easier to take the thing apart and just fit it with a standard C14 and be done with it!

Just for you PK

I think it gets the point across quite well actually, better than anything I could ever draw!
