Hi There,

Have just gotten a LianLi v1200+. It's quite noisy when switched on. I'm not after perfect silentness, but it's not particularly quiet at the moment. How would I go about identifying which fans are the noisy ones?

Thanks

Put your finger into the centre of the fan to slow it down. If it goes quiet thats your noisy one ;)

Disconnect each one in turn until the noise level drops (turn it off while disconnecting I might add).

If you're feeling adventurous, you can stop a fan while it's spinning by carefully pressing down on the centre. Mind your fingers, do not attempt if inebriated etc.

Cheers, I was kind of expecting some sarcastic comments I suppose, but I just wanted to know how others do it!

Right well, it's my gpu fan. It seems to be running on full tilt whenever my pc is on. I've tried disabling it in the nVidia control panel, but no luck.

Seems exactly like my 7800GTs were before i watercooled the buggers. So annoying!
