Hi,

My parents have an IDEQ 200S which I built for them a year or so ago, now the fan for the heatsink is making some dodgy noises, its spinning but I am guessing its failing as its takes a while to spin up.

Anuyone know where I can get another fan?

ok... Anyone able to tell me if its an 60mm, 80mm fan? If not can anyone with one of these measure it for me??

Its a PC thats I have built for my parents and they live 200miles away so would like to get one before I have to drive down.

Depending on exactly when it was built it could be a 60mm x 10mm fan or a 70mm x 10mm fan. The fan depth is vital for these systems. It is VERY difficult to locate replacements for the 70mm x 10mm. I believe Acoustifan make a 60mm x 10mm.

I think you'll struggle to replace the heatsink without removing the motherboard as it has that stupid latched-over mounting system.

What you could do if you get desperate is to take the 70mm out of the back of the case and use that for the CPU fan. Then replace the 70mm on the back with either an Acoustifan 70mmx25mm (I know that fits, because that's what I used) or go external with a 70-80mm adapter and a nice quiet 80mm fan.

If you get REALLY desperate - you could contact reddeathdrinker as I sold mine to him and it had the Acoustifan fitted, but the Sunon original was in the accessories box. He might be prepared to sell it, maybe not.

Actually - I still have the 70-80mm adapter I was using, if you go down that route.
