Idiot 2nd HDD help please

Hi all,

I am sure I am being thick but I am having some trouble getting my applications to run off a second HDD.

I just installed a 150g Raptor on my 2nd sata channel. I did a quick format and installed battlefield2 onto the raptor just by changing the drive letter in the install destination to that of the raptor. All seemed ok but the game will not boot from the shortcuts or disk.

What have I done wrong? Have never used a second HDD for anything other than backing up documents. Did I need to do a full format? Do I need to put windows on it? Arrgh.

P.S please don't laugh too much.

just link the short cut to the .exe of the game.

if that dont work then reinstall and the registery will have correct location

Thanks Ronaldo. Already done a reinstall of BF2, no joy. And the shortcut points straight to the launcher in BF2.

Edit: Completely shut the system down and it now works - go figure.
