Probably quite an easy thing to do but never done it before and just looking for some guidance.

My router is a Netgear DG834G (wireless g modem router). I have a PS3 and PC (Windows XP) already connected to the router (wired) with ethernet cable. I have just taken delivery of a laptop (HP M550 - Windows Vista Home Basic) and want to connect it wirelessly.

How do I go about this. My ISP is Tesco.

Thanks for any advice.

What a bizarre coincidence, I came here to post the exact same thing (well nearly).

I have this PC (running XP) wired to my Linksys WAG160N Router and my PS3 downstairs wirelessly connected. However, if my Mother comes around and trys to use her laptop, it kicks the PS3 off the network.

I have absolutely no idea about these sorts of things. I'm guessing the Laptop will have to supllied with an IP address of it's own on the network, but that's just a guess and I have no idea hoew to do it.
