Hey guys.
So i have now got a iPhone 5s, the last time i had an iPhone was a 4 so a lot has changed. I am having trouble deciding what to do with my icloud. My previous phone was a lumia and i paid to have onedrive upgraded so i had like 50GB and when i took a photo it went straight to my onedrive which was great because i didnt have to worry about backing up etc manually.
I have read that iCloud only backs up for 30 days. This was news to me and thus bring me to the photo library. Is this reliable? As when i have this on the photostream album disappears so i can't really tell if a photos been uploaded successfully or not. Also i guess i don't see my photos on icloud photos no more (windows PC) so do i have to go on the browser every time i want to view a photo/album?
I have only got a 16GB model and returning from holiday i need to upgrade my iCloud storage but would like to know the above before i make the purchase.
Thanks.
