It all depends on how the email is setup at your work.
Do you have an exchange server, maybe a linux box in the office, or do you "dial-in" (by ADSL modem for example) to your ISP?
I'd take a look at the account settings on the old PC first and then copy them.
If it's an exchange server then you'll be laughing as you can just leave all your mail on it and view it from there no matter what PC you use... however, you'd likely be running the full version of outlook in that case.
If it's pop, then I'd copy the settings, but change it to leave the mail on the server for 10 days before deleting it. That way you should have a chance to copy them onto both machines before they expire.
There may be an option to export your account settings, I don't know - I use the full version.
