Idle Temps?

Hi

I've just installed 'Expert Tool' that came with my 560 ti and it shows my card as 55 degrees on idle. Should it be that high? Are there any other programs that will show me the temperature in-game?

There's only about 1-2 inches between my graphics card and psu, maybe this is the problem?

Never mind, it's because I'm running dual monitors. Does anyone know if it's possible to run a monitor at 1920x1080 on the motherboard?

No it's not, and running dual monitors isn't going to make the temp fly up when idle.

I would lean towards insufficient airflow in the case - but that idle temp isn't particularly awful either, load temp is more important.

Sure it is, graphics cards run higher clocks when running dual monitors when idle compared to only running one monitor.

Msi afterburner will show temps, and a host of other card info on screen in game.

Right but the cooler should be more than capable of cooling that to the same level as with 1 screen.

Max temp was 81 while in games. I presume that's fine.
