Idle v Load

Hi,

I just got my Q6600 installed with a Thermalright TRUE.

Its currently sitting at 3.4Ghz with 1.4v and at idle the cores are between 35-40c and at load they are sitting at around 58-60c.

The load temperatures are not worrying me but the idle seems a bit high and I was just wanting some other opinions.

I couldn't say with regard to that particular HS. However, 35-40C is fine comparitively to 60C under load.

My idle temp is 30C using an Artic Cooler Freezer 7 Pro, load temp is around 68C on my Q6600 using Core Temp.

what fan(s) are you running on the TRUE?
