Idlewild - 'Make Another World'

Anyone heard the new Idlewild album yet? I must admit I'm quite disappointed... it sounds as though they've tried to go back to their roots - but not quite got there, and strayed a little bit towards some unknown place.

Any other thoughts?

I'm seeing them in Leeds in a couple of weeks... I hope the live show is better.

New single sounds a bit weak. They have a loyal fan base and are good live so the gig should be ok.

Hmm, I was thinking about buying this, but I'm having second thoughts now...

I'm more a fan of their newer style...

after posting what i did, i had a 2nd thought and almost edited it.. its def worth a buy if you're an idlewild fan

its more like their previous album than any other, just no awesome tracks on it, but i wouldn't skip any on it (hope i'm not contradicting myself too much!)

Only good track on it is "If It Takes You Home" imo. It's not a patch on everything from The Remote Part and before which is is a shame as I was hoping the last album had just been a blip on an otherwise great career...
