I had to give hat off to Idnet, excellent as BTWholesale had activated my broadband the day after my order of Home Lite. It was the fastest activated I ever seen in my life! Compare with my virgin media cable as downtimes is very annoying (been down many times for 6 months so far) but IDNet, connected me for 2 days now, with sync at 8128kbps and got speed of 7067kbps and very low ping too. Very happy indeed. I might scrap VM when my 12 months contract is up.

IDNet also rated best top isp in UK too and the support telephone is freephone too. They even turn off interleaved for me too within an hour request from BTWholesale.

They are good, I don't mind paying extea with them. They just upped the bandwidth allowances as well to around 360Gb which is excellent.

They are an excellent ISP I will say.

Have been with them just over 4 years, although I have just migrated away because I think their off peak hours (12am - 9am!) are, frankly, ridiculous. My connection is used, in the main, after 6pm so a little more flexibility and bandwidth during that time is required.

But as you say, their support is (almost) second to none.
