iDVD and iMovie

Does anyone know what to do with these as im chucked a lot of file types into them but they don't seem to recognise anything, getting a bit tedious as I would like to use them as i've owned the thing for about 7 months but always give up as no movie format seem to work in them. :confused:

Done that, restarted, go to drag and drop into iMovie its doesnt take it, go to File and import it it says its processing it, but nothing comes up in the events!?

Try this.
Convert to mov files then try dropping em in.
Bit puzzled as to why they won't recognise your files. :confused:

What mac do you have?

Thanks, already have that, but it seems abit rubbish I have to sit and convert each lil movie file i make.

Ohh and its a late 2008 iMac 2.8

Just tried a WMV, nothing, which is understandable, Mpg, or a movie i made awhile ago,, on both accounts messages came up saying they are not recognised in iMovie, tried to drop in a episode of South Park, that was Avi, it come up as tho its importing it, then nothing after that.

Stremclipped the clips into MP$ seems to be working, seems to be abt useless when most formats on the Videio editing on my Pc recognises them by just dragging and dropping them in.

Also on one of the vids Streamclip says i have to PAY for it to be able to get MPEG2 tp playback for me?, im sorry but WTF?
