just thought id give IE9 beta a run, and its very good except for 1 thing, the fonts look a bit weird, cant put my finger on it but they are a bit fuzzy and not clear, im wondering if its cleartype or something. either way, is there a way to fix this?

This was brought up in the IE9 Beta thread that is knocking about. In some cases turning off any kind of forced AA in your graphics drivers can stop the weirdness.
At the end of the day it is BETA so you shouldn't be expecting miracles just yet!

its not driver forced AA, i have uploaded a pic of whats going on, iv also done a feedback report to microsoft so they can take a look into it.
have a look at the pic and let me know if you understand whats going on:

even with the jpeg compression i can see your ie8 has clearer text.
as such im done with the beta ie9 and iv gone back to ie8. ie9 is quick and i like its minimalistic look, but its no good if i get a migrane trying to read text in the browser.
