IE 9 or Firefox ?

May of been asked plenty of times, but ive always been a firefox fan as the security has some what lacked on Internet explorer in the passed years!

Is IE 9 better than firefox now days?

Has the security changed i.e better like firefox?

You should give chrome a try. I used to be a Firefox fan but the simplicity of chrome is great. And it seems Microsoft can't make a browser to save their lives. I had to do research based on security exploits for the different browsers and MS never seem to have overcome this problem.
 
There's nothing at all wrong with IE. The browser does what it does, and aslong as you have sufficient security behind it, other than some rubbish AV like AVG you're as safe as a mac.

Personally I use Chrome because of it's simplicity, it's a lightweight, fast and easy to use browser. IE tends to be quite slow, and firefox despite themes still looks like crap.

Opera is another good choice IMO, mainly due to its mass amount of features. You really never know until you try another browser for a few days.
 
Yea the new Firefox you can custimise the interface, if you want it to look like 3.6.

Right click at the top and tick the menu bar etc....
But really the new interface is to give you more desktop real estatem see more webiste in orther words.
