IE users have lower IQ?

Fairly obvious - IE is the default browser so the majority use it. Only people interested in tech will bother to upgrade and those interested in tech will generally have a higher IQ than those interested in X Factor.

Its a pretty funny report but as the bottom of it states that if the results were true that the IE users would be borderline retarded which is unlikely.
 
I could be wrong, but as far as I could see there was no statement around numbers of respondents to the survey broken down by browser.

If only 2 people who use Opera answered the survey and both had an IQ of 120 then it would appear that Opera users have a higher IQ on average than the 60,000 that answered that used IE. Despite the fact that there could have been significantly more IE users with higher IQ than the Opera users.

Shame Opera and Camino users still aren't smart enough to stop wolfing down the over priced ******* apple feeds them every few months.
 
As I said in the other thread on the subject...

I suspect it's also something to do with geekiness levels... Which is why Opera users have a higher IQ than FF and Chrome...

I assume it's also inversely proportional to the number of friend you have, and whether you have a GF...

I'm surprised Safari ranks higher than IE, it's the default browser for apple products, which you would have to be a complete imbecile to pay over the odds for.
