IE10 & Cookies

I have a problem that's really bugging me. Ive lived for it for a while but im hoping we can find a solution.

Occasionally IE10 (desktop) will forget all cookies from sites that im logged into causing me to enter all details each time. I cannot pin this down to a specific event causing the cookies to be lost, it seems to happen randomly, sometimes after boot.

Examples are

• http://www.google.co.uk/ig
• http://facebook.com
• http://forums.overclockers.co.uk

I have ccleaner installed but the cookies are added to the ignore list. It appears ccleaner is not related as its scheduled to clean only manually and cookies are lost without cleaning.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Do you have any internet security application installed that cleans up cookies in idle/scheduled scans? I found this occasionally caused me issues with some sites.

Also try deleting browser history via internet options but uncheck the cookies box and see if that helps at all.

In the meantime have you tried a password manager like LastPass? Would make it much less of a chore entering logins.
