I am running IE7 which I really like but I do remote working at home and it doesn't work with IE7. My IT section have told me to use Firefox. If I load FF just for homeworking will it use loads of my resources when I am not using it but am running IE7?

There is a standalone Internet Explorer 6 that you can use which might work. Do a search for my posts in this section in the last 2 weeks and you'll find the link.
But otherwise give Firefox a go, if your pc is quick enough to load it as fast as IE6 then you'll love it quite quickly. If it's a bit older like mine and you have to wait a few seconds for it to load while IE6 loads instantly then it will frustrate you significantly
