Ok, set the scene...

Theres a superdooper image that made me fall off my chair and laugh, I want to show everyone I know becuase im cool.

I have to right click > properties > copy the link...

Why for the love of god can i just right click and copy the link. It's too much effort and annoys me every day.

Um why not right click the picture then click save picture as?

If you do want just the shortcut then right click the picture and then click on copy shortcut... this copies the shortcut to the clipboard and then you can paste it into whatever you like...

Well, I don't want to save the image, i just want to copy its source.

"Copy shortcut" is always greyed out for me though :/ every single picture, since i have ever used ie7. Actually Its only greyed on images with no link,

eg if an image is an html link to google.co.uk itll copy google.co.uk, not the image source.

Misiowiec, no.

You can't actually get a link to an image within a web page (when the image is full sized if you get me) you need to right click on the thumbnail (that links to the main image) to do it.

Try going to google and clicking on images. Enter a random word and then right click on the thumbnail and see if it works.
