IE7 doesn't work

I get this.

Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage

but FireFox does, I used FF to post this, on my IE7 I reset everything to defaults as well.

I'm on Vista, I downloaded SP1 yesterday.

Accidently ticked "Work Offline" by any chance?

i had someone with a similar problem after install SP1 on a laptop. I didnt check it with another browser but after a system restore it worked fine. SP1 has since been reinstalled fine.

I could only choose one restore to yesterday, that didn't work.

maybe your firewall decided to stop ie7's network access (there are a few that allow access by program)? also check a proxy server has not got set some how in IE's internet settings (only really likley if you half-inched a corperate pc)
