I need to keep IE6 so I can compatibility-check sites.

I've got an old standalone version of IE7 installed - I have no idea which version it is, but they cleverly programmed it to block drop-down form fields as popups.

I got a mate to go to the same site in IE7, and it didn't block the drop-down, so I must have some wierd and wonderful version of IE7.

Does anyone know where/how I can get the latest version of IE7, but as a standalone (e.g. one that doesn't get rid of IE6!) ?

cheers :)

Just a quick thought on this. The web developer guys here had the same sort of problem, ended up using Microsoft Vitual PC (believe it is now free) to create images of all differen't types of configs (XP, Vista, NT, 98 etc with as many diff combinations of IE/firefox etc as they could) and they use these to verify web pages now.
