My internet access is becoming very very slow on many but not all websites. Also I am often frustrated by a message telling me that the web page in question is trying to list me as one of their “trusted sites”. This happens in various but not all websites. Whether I click yes or no to the message prompt seems to make no difference. Sometimes the message can be removed easily but often reappears and I can do nothing on the web until it is gone. I am using an Orange broadband connection. I regularly optimize my memory and my internet settings to no avail. I have used various anti virus and anti spy ware programs including McAfee and Ad Adware (Lavasoft). I have even uninstalled and reinstalled IE7 but this has done nothing to help. My computer people (HP Support) seem to have given up answering emails at the moment. Any ideas about this problem? Thank you.
