I've just installed IE7 and i've lost the tool bar

all i have now is back, forward, the address box, refresh, stop and search.

None of the other stuff is there :( how do i add some back?

I miss me favs :(

or you can add the menu bar by using right mouse click on the grey bar in IE7.

Which will put back file, edit, view, favorities, tools and help drop down menu buttons

Or you can just press the "alt" key to pop up the normal menu bar.

This is what i get after pressing Alt.

I get no help right clicking and enabling things in view does nothing but bring up a load of microsoft links.

Hi,

My IE7 was loaded from e-mail that was sent to me by microsoft version number 7.0.5730.11.

Your version number?

But from "The_blue" screen dump I see that you are missing yellow star with the tabs buttons.

Try right mouse click on the grey blank bar in IE7, you should get a drop down menu, where you can fix normal menu bar, lock the bar in place etc.

You also have a customise command bar if you click that that will allow you to add or remove command icons you may find the favorities icon.

Hope this help

Simon

i just found this..

click on tools (top right) then toolbars then favourites and they appear down the left again.

I like it but it looks so much like safari its comical.

M$ say they have improved the Favorites menu to make it easier to use and navigate etc.
What a load of rubbish....If I use the star button then I have to manually scroll down my list to see it all. I'll be using the old menu system thanks.

Personllay, I like the star... but I do Alt + A + letter anyway....

I have each 'favourite' start with a different letter/number, .e.g. for ocuk, all I do is Alt + A + O.... Quick, simple and easy.
