IE7

Its more like firefox than ie6. I really like it and have been using it for the last few weeks after using firefox for the last few years.

Still not decided if I prefer it to firefox 2.0, but its deffo better than ie6.

Well it's got tabbed browsing, also just seems to be much neater and more compact so you can see a bit more of the actual webpage.

I'm using it now, takes a bit to get used to it but it's good. Much better than IE6.

The thing that set Firefox of is the tab windows. That's the reason why I use firefox.

IE7 have introduced these tab windows which will prove a huge hit.

However I've noticed after installing IE7 last week that the default font used in webpages for example the font this text is typed in has changed.

Not sure if I'm just the one or it has happened to everyone else. Hard to get used to.

Also the first thing I had to do once IE7 was installed was to edit the registry so that the menu bar appears at the top of the screen rather than below the url bar which has caused a huge upset for IE users.

It might be the Cleartype thats making it look different. You can go into the Options and turn it off, but i've not noticed any font changes or anything.

I've turned Cleartype off as things just look at bit weird with it on and annoyinf.

Cheers for that mate. Worked a treat.

My eyes are less strained now.

awful, firefox all the way.

Im using both firefox and iexplorer, yet i use iexplorer for most things, i find some things better and some things worse about firefox...
Perosnally i'd use iexplorer still if i had to choose...

I'm sticking with firefox, mainly because I prefer the look of it especially with the tabs and the search bar - and what's with those stars on IE7? Plus I've found Live search to be completely useless.

Either way if you like it or don't like it, its better than IE6. Just t install it and keep up to date.

Exactly and it shouldn't really even be an issue, remember some software uses the IE engine and almost all like to use it when opening websites, i know you can change that for some but unless there's any critical apps you use that don't work properly for some reason then there shouldn't be any problems.
