IE8 Address Bar Favorites

Is there anyway to remove/hide the list of IE8 Favorites from the address bar?

Same for the History information.

Right the bar and untick 'favourite bar'?
Then udner safety click delete browsing history and when the box come sup select the areas you want removed?

In the picture, there is a Favorites and History list within the Address Bar highlighted A.

If you click the red X then it will delete the Favorite link altogether and not just from the Address Bar = highlighted B.
