IE8 fav icons are wrong

Seems all the icons in IE8 are displaying wrong. Homepage google is a twitter icon, OcUk is empireonline and yahoo is bbc. Seems to be all the fav icons that are playing up.

I've googled and tried different suggestion but none worked.

Anyone had a known fix for this?

Yeah this has happened to me in Google Chrome too, only way i saw to fixing it was to open each page in my favourites so that it saved the proper icon again.

Thanks, didn't work but I had a good clear out of all my dead fav's lol
