Just wondered if anyone else has noticed this...

When going back/forward through webpages (both using mouse buttons and the toolbar) it sometimes jumps 2 or 3 pages at a time.
When doing the above it can also "forget" a page completely.

Just wondered if i'm the only one. It's making me tempted to go find another browser. :(

The slowness of IE8 made me remove it long before I noticed any issues with it forgetting pages.

I'm using IE8 7000 under Windows 7 with a 5-button mouse and it works fine, I don't think the issue is with the browser.

using it on 7068 on my lappy and for some reason when play JScript animations or anything it is really really slow. Going to try it on RC1 when I install, hoping it's not the same.

BTW Use chrome, it's the way forward!!

I get the missing/forgetting pages thing too, although, to be fair, I also had it with IE7.

Not too impressed with IE8 though. I immediately noticed the slowness compared to IE7, but i will stick with it for a while longer to see if it has any redeeming features.

Never had it with IE7, tempted to just roll back.

Then again, i'm assuming IE8 is bundled with W7 so i'm going to hit this problem eventually unless it's patched?

It's doing it a lot now, very annoying.

Follow on to this, is it possible to do a repair or reinstall of IE8?

Just wondering if that could solve it, but I don't wanna fudge my install.
