Click Control Panel, Updates, View Update History, Installed Updates, then remove it from there.
Why would you want to (unless of course it causes some fundamental compatibility problems for you)? Even if you remove it you generally end up with an older version of IE installed. Just use another browser as the default and forget IE is there.
At least that way you have the up to date, more secure and better supported version under the covers.
