IE9?

I've come to rely on many things chrome brings which would make changing to IE9 a step backwards.

*Decent Ad blocker.
*Built in as you type spell checker.
*Great extensions for popular sites.

I'm having loads of problems as well when in Facebook, I'll give IE9 a miss for now.

I'm having the same issues on loads of sites with that message. I uninstalled IE9, and now my IE8 seems to lag for a few seconds before rendering pages now.

I've switched to FF for my main browsing.

I looked at the event logs, and IE9 seems to have a fault with the "kernalbase.dll". Im using Win7 Ultimate x64.

I was using the IE9 RC x64 install.

First impressions are : half finished (obviously not finished product), trying too hard to catch up with others and ending up being just another one like them.

Couple of things I've found...

1, Won't launch Quicktime when I want to watch a Movie Trailer from Apple's Trailer site.
2, Complains about 'Potentially damaging content' on my iGoogle page and blocks it all!!.. it will let me 'Show All' but next time I got to my iGoogle page it complains again!!..
3, Crashes on a number of 'easy' sites: OcUK-Forums, CrackBerry, even Play.com

I'm testing it against Mozilla's Minefield (64bit) and it doesn't match up!!..

Only problem I have in Minefield is it uses twice the memory of FireFox!..

I ran the beta for a while and just had some compatibility problems with a few sites but they weren’t show stoppers. It was quick and the only downside was the change in the UI. Not had it running since a rebuild but it will be loaded as soon as it’s released.
