I couldn't make the ievent this year - went to Newbury or the last 2 Easter events - would be interested in any feedback on the new location for the LAN. (Gutted that I missed it and was working 12 hours shifts for the 4 days to make matters worse :( )

I really enjoyed it, and liked the change of venue. At Newbury you knew it was a big LAN, but you didn't quite feel it in the room. Stoneleigh was great because everyone was in the room, and it wasn't actually that noisy either.

Few issues such as showers and toilets where people felt the need to make a complete mess in them resulting in them being unusable at times. Food was nice, but could have been cheaper or come in larger portions. There were a few thefts such as a shuttle PC, a laptop and a few minor things. As with most LANs, you shouldn't leave valuables lieing around.

Other than that, the LAN was pretty good. I'd recommend it :)

^^^ I agree. The whole showers& campsite thing was a mess, but it didnt bother me as I didnt shower while I was there. I didnt come to Geekfest to get clean!! Wetwipes *** ;)

Was my first Lan, and I've got the bug now. Definetly going to the one next summer.

:):):)

and it wasn't actually that noisy either.

lol were you in the same room???? when one of the css players died or something they were screaming there heads off, which made me laugh!

Fantastic weekend though, lots of beer drunk and up all night playing games = WIN!

and who can forget gemma atkinson!

will definatly go to a future i-series event but cant make i35 due to work and money :(

haha was heard many times from us css players :D

excellent lan imo, bit out of the way compared to Newbury had to drive about 10mins to nearest supermarket or petrol station.

Thought it was great in one big hall though, missed the balconies at newbury though to pop out for a smoke on felt cooler haha. Food was the only disappointment for me, small portions, expensive and not that good. Although Dominos were delivering a lot to the site, beer on the other hand wasnt badly priced and a decent pint.

Cant comment on the camping or shower facilities as I was staying in a Travelodge which at £30 a night couldnt fall off. Comfy bed and shower only downside getting a taxi if I wanted to have a drink.

Overall will be attending the next one, wont be i35 though as I will be offshore working :(

Ok it was a tiny bit noisy at times :p I was expecting it to be constantly noisy, fortunately it wasnt. Atmosphere on the last night was a bit crazy, in a good way.

Cant make it to i35 due to uni. Hopefully I can make it to i36 and i37.
