I know it might sound silly, but I have these weird scenarios that go on in my mind constantly, but the current one is if a spider crawled into my computer case and got electrocuted on the motherboard or something and shorted something out and fried something... is this possible...

I know if a human jumped into a power transformer it would short and it might fry something, would the same be relative for a spider against my dual 12v rails?

Well actually that's a very good question.

Could 12V differential (24V) put an end to a spider?

If he/she had one leg on +12V, one leg on -12V - the other 6 legs drifting around.
