If anyone can name this game I'll be amazed!

I was clearing out my old room at my parents a couple of months ago, imagine my excitement when I found a box with my Spectrum, C64 & Atari 2600 in it. And they all still work. They don't make them like they used to. Around the same time my dad also had an Amiga, but I wasn't allowed to touch it because I was too young........ Kind of like my PC and my kids today :D

Weren't speccy's really fussy when it came to joysticks? My mate had one, (well actually he had several including a 128+3! but I digress...:D) and you used to have three of four different joystick options for every game.

Owning a CPC 464 at the time, I never had that problem. They were built properly. ;)
Kempston interface or something seems to ring a bell regarding joystick issues...

I had a CPC464 COLOUR :p Amazing machines, wish I hadn't sold mine now just so I could play Gryzor or Roland on the Ropes again lawl. Still got tons of issues of Amstrad Action magazines here :)

I once unplugged the Kempston interface from my cousins 48k speccy while it was on and the screen went all corrupted and the spectrum had to be repaired which at the time i think cost about £70 which was a lot of money then. Oooops :o

I had this game on the C64 I think. Wasn't half bad as i remember it!

Although the more I think about it the more I'm wondering if it might have been on a Demo CD on the first PC magazine I bought...

EDIT: although I remember it looking more like the screenshots on the back of the inlay Gimpymoo posted.

I still have 2 :D

And my first ever game I bought BOOTY :)

Did you ever see what happened if you plugged a Currah Microspeech in while playing that? It triggered (never found out if by design or by freak accident) a part of the game where you were swimming underwater instead of the actual normal platform game.

Never did find out if that was something that was supposed to happen later on, or if it was some sort of early easter egg. One of the most bizarre things I ever saw on the Spectrum though.
